2. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to DrapeMax websites and pages, including drapemax.com, www.drapemax.com, library.drapemax.com, ai.drapemax.com, related landing pages, sample request workflows, contact forms, newsletter forms, SMS communications, the DrapeMax iOS app, the DrapeMax AI preview service, account features, support communications, and any other website, mobile feature, or page that links to this policy.
This policy does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services that we do not own or control. Those third parties are responsible for their own privacy practices.
3. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with DrapeMax. We may collect the following categories of information:
- Identifiers. Name, email address, phone number, company name, mailing address, account username, and related contact details.
- Account information. Login credentials, hashed passwords, authentication tokens, account role, account status, subscription or consent status, and account settings.

- User content. Room photos, fabric selections, fabric image URLs, window treatment styles, project notes, design instructions, uploaded screenshots, messages, attachments, and other content you choose to provide.
- Generated content. AI-generated preview images and related service output created from your room photo, selected fabric, selected style, and instructions.
- Usage and technical data. IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device type, operating system, app version, browser type, request headers, page interactions, logs, error reports, generation attempts, timestamps, quota usage, and success or failure status.
- Newsletter and marketing information. Email subscription status, form submissions, MailerLite or similar email platform records, unsubscribe activity, and engagement information.
- SMS consent and communication data. Phone number, opt-in records, message history, opt-out status, and related support, sample request, or order communication details.
4. Camera, Photos, and AI Preview Processing
The DrapeMax iOS app or AI preview service may request access to your camera or selected photos only when you choose to capture or upload a room image for a preview. You control camera and photo permissions through your device settings.
DrapeMax uses AI image processing to create realistic window covering previews. To provide this feature, we may send your room photo, selected fabric image, fabric name, selected style, project notes, and related prompt information to AI service providers, including OpenAI, and to hosting or infrastructure providers that help process the request.
We use this information to provide the requested preview, operate the service, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve DrapeMax workflows. We do not sell your uploaded room photos or generated previews. We do not use your uploaded room photos to train our own foundation models.
5. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve DrapeMax websites, apps, forms, and services.
- To authenticate users, maintain sessions, protect accounts, and prevent unauthorized access.
- To generate AI room previews from user-selected room photos, fabrics, styles, and notes.
- To manage free trial usage, account quotas, credits, recharge records, usage history, and service availability.
- To respond to product inquiries, sample requests, dealer or designer questions, account requests, support tickets, and privacy requests.
- To send newsletters, fabric updates, product availability notices, promotions, service announcements, and other communications when allowed by law or based on your consent.
- To send SMS messages related to sample requests, order status, delivery notifications, product availability, customer support, and similar business communications when you provide consent.
- To monitor performance, diagnose errors, detect abuse, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

If you provide your email address, you may receive product updates, fabric availability notices, sample request follow-ups, newsletters, marketing messages, service announcements, or other business communications from DrapeMax. - Usage logs, quota records, ledger records, recharge records, support records, and security logs may be retained as needed for business, accounting, legal, support, and fraud-prevention purposes.
- Uploaded room photos are used to process the requested preview. We do not intentionally store original uploaded room photos in the account database as a permanent gallery unless a feature expressly says otherwise.
- Generated images may remain on your device, browser, account workflow, local downloads, support communications, or temporary service infrastructure depending on how you use the service.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These safeguards may include encrypted transport, password hashing, authentication tokens, access controls, logging, and limited administrative access.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
